Recreational Program

GIVE YOUR CHILD THE BEST RECREATIONAL PROGRAM EXPERIENCE EVER!

Our Kids’ Place LKN’s Recreational program is a toddler program for children 11 months to 5 years old. This program is designed as a transitional experience to enhance social and emotional growth. We offer 3 program age group options: Beginners (Ages 11 months - 18 months), Explorers (19 months- 3 years old), and Adventurers (3 years old- 5 years old). Little ones have fun playing with others, growing social skills, and strengthening their large motor skills in our spacious playhouse. We focus on number, color and letter recognition, handwriting skills, communication skills, self-help skills, coach led organized sports and potty-training. The daily schedule includes a balance of security and routine. Trained and nurturing adults we call coaches teach and mentor your child.

Our Winter Program begins January 2, 2024. Registration is now OPEN.

Program space is limited and is expected to fill up quickly, so families are encouraged to enroll their children as soon as possible. A registration form must be filled out to reserve a place in the program. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first served basis. The registration fee is $75 per child, which covers individual classroom supplies.

We offer three options, with a half-day program from 8:45 AM-12:15 PM. Other options available, please call us at (980) 444-0066 for more details.

Dress for Success

Art projects and playgrounds are messy, as well as fun and educational. Make sure your child wears clothes that are washable and shoes that are practical. Any valuable jewelry or small items that could be misplaced or be a choking hazard for smaller children should be left at home. Our Kids’ Place Kids LKN assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items.

Snacks and Lunch Time

Please provide a lunch/snack that your child can eat with minimal assistance. Our Kids’ Place LKN is nut-free.

Toileting

We DO accept children in diapers and will assist in potty training. Please be sure to supply a fully stock diaper bag and/or change of clothes.

Nap Time

We DO have a dedicated sensory room for nap times while your child is with us. Please be sure to pack them a clean, special blanket or stuffed animal to help them feel extra comfortable.

Discipline Policy

Our Kids’ Place LKN does not use any form of corporal punishment.

Illness

If your child is sick, please do not send them to drop-in care. If a child becomes sick while in attendance, the parent or designated contact person will be called on to pick up the child immediately. We recommend consulting the Keep Me Home If document as a guide for whether or not your child should stay home.
